Mobility Equipment
We provide specialist mobility equipment not available on the NHS to disabled children and young people up to their 25th birthday across the UK, helping them build independence, confidence and greater freedom.

Employment and Skills
We help disabled young people aged 14-25 to build aspirations and develop life and work skills so they can prepare for life after school and move into paid employment with confidence experience and job opportunities

Impact and Innovation
We use a number of innovative models of support and skills development including travel training, leadership programmes and self-employment support supporting confidence independence and new pathways into good jobs.

AFK’s Disability and Neurodiversity Training and Consultancy Services offer helps your organisation to build inclusive workplace cultures and create accessible career opportunities for disabled and neurodivergent young people.
AFK Beach is back for 2026
Get your team on the sand this summer for AFK’s Charity Beach Volleyball Championships.
Join us for mixed 5-a-side beach volleyball, team building and fundraising in support of disabled and neurodiverse children and young people. Choose our full-day championships at SideOut Beach Volleyball Club on 23 July, or one of our London Bridge evening tournaments in July and August.

Training and Consultancy Service
AFK’s Disability and Neurodiversity Training and Consultancy Service supports organisations to build more inclusive workplace cultures and create accessible career opportunities for disabled and neurodivergent young people.
Through practical training, workshops and consultancy, we help employers understand barriers, improve accessibility and build the confidence to support disabled talent to thrive at work.
Our offer includes Disability in the Workplace and Neurodiversity in the Workplace lunch and learn sessions, Disability Inclusion Training, Neuroinclusion Training, and bespoke training and consultancy to support more inclusive workplaces.

All of our funding comes from voluntary sources, as we receive no government funding.
81% of the money we raise goes right back into our services to support disabled children and young people.

could go towards a ‘Aspire to work’ session facilitated by AFK, whereby local SEND pupils will learn about opportunities for employment after school.

could go towards an Employment Coach providing one-to-one tailored support to a young disabled person on their journey in to paid employment.
