The Forest Arden Golf Club chose Action For Kids (my AFK) as their charity partner of the year!
Through a range of fantastic fundraising events, including a huge charity golf day, Marriott Forest Arden Golf Club raised a whopping £8,259.50 for my AFK!
Peter, the men’s team captain, who has supported my AFK for years, said: “I was inspired by the story of the founder, Sally Bishop, who raised funds for a young boy who needed a powered wheelchair which the NHS was unable to provide. I want to raise funds to give one child the mobility equipment they need to enjoy a better quality of life.”
