Are you passionate about helping disabled young people live the life they choose and want to support AFK’s work? Join or form a Fundraising Volunteer Group in your local community!
AFK are looking for flexible, long term volunteers to take part in various activities as part of a team, raising funds for our work to their local area. The group will be guided by AFK but is a self-run group of like-minded individuals who organise fundraising events and activities. AFK will provide training, support and fundraising tools to ensure the success of the group.
You will have the opportunity to undertake roles such as Group Leader, Group Banker, Event Co-ordinator or just try your hand in planning and organising as part of the volunteer group. You can either join an existing Fundraising Group or form a new group in your local area.
You do not need any experience in events or fundraising but must have a passion to help change the lives of disabled children and young people, a willingness to learn, be a great team player, good people skills and can offer a few hours a week of your time.
