AFK nominated ‘Disability Board of the Year’

The Board Awards: A not-for-profit awards ceremony to celebrate diverse Boards that positively impact the communities they serve.

AFK are delighted to have been nominated in the ‘Disability Board of the Year’ at this year’s Board Awards, hosted by Diversifying Group.

‘Diverse Boards are vital for effective decision-making, innovation and success. We want to shine a light on the individuals and Boards who are paving the way in creating more inclusive practices whilst delivering on their mission.

At Diversifying Group, we lead inclusive recruitment campaigns to increase applications of aspiring non-Execs from under-represented backgrounds. Through dedicated efforts of like-minded people and organisations, we are starting to see positive change in the diversity make-up of Boards.

The continued efforts to bring more diverse voices into influential decision-making spaces are propelling us forward in the fight for equality. That’s why at The Board Awards, we’re coming together to recognise, celebrate and inspire.’
