AFK's Got Talent!
At my AFK over the last few weeks, we have been thinking of ways to navigate the days ahead in these uncertain times. We wanted something that you and your family can have fun with, making the most of our time at home and creating great memories, all while continuing to support our cause.
With that being said, we are very excited to announce the opportunity for you to share your talents with my AFK with our very first Virtual Talent Show!
Submissions are open on Monday 30th March for two weeks until Easter Sunday on the 12th of April! Whether you’re a pro lip syncer, a magnificent magician, a dance whizz or a dab hand with a paintbrush, we want to see your creative ideas flow!
We are encouraging every kid, every parent and even every pet to get involved. Get your thinking caps on! ALL TALENTS AND ALL MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY WELCOME! We are excited to see your entries!
Here are just a few ideas you could consider (while social distancing):
- Perform a poem
- Sing
- Lip Sync Battle/Medley
- Virtual Pet Show
- Dance
- Create a story/skit with your family
- Timelapse an art piece
- Time Lapse cook-along!
- Magic Show
- Comedy Show
You can showcase any talent you like via video. Submissions can be up to 4 minutes long. Semi-finalists will be announced each day between the 12th – 18th of April. PUBLIC VOTE OPENS 19TH APRIL to determine our finalists on the 25th APRIL LIVE SHOW!
