AFK collaborates with the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed
As part of AFK’s mission to support young people with disabilities or who identify as neurodiverse, or both, we are embarking on a new initiative to support our young people in to self-employment.
Our programme places a profound emphasis on the unique needs of each participant. Within this framework, we’re arming our young people with the knowledge, resources, and tools essential for not only developing their entrepreneurial ideas but also excelling in their pursuit of self-employment.
As part of this initiative, we are proud to announce our collaboration with The Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed (IPSE). IPSE is a British not-for-profit organisation and was established in 1999 and is a great platform for accessing resources and those that are confident working independently on their self-employment journey.
IPSE are offering the Community membership with the addition of our 12-month Incubator programme. This 12-month programme provides you with the knowledge, support and protection you need to turn your idea into a fully operational business.
The Community membership offers:
- Over 400 workspaces for free.
- You will have access to the Business Hub, a resource platform created and maintained by qualified legal and business advice experts.
- Access 100s of templates, guides and tools 24/7, so you never have to wait to keep your business moving forward.
- Access to 1-2-1 sessions with other members.
- You will be able to tap into the membership directory and to connect with other members.
- Last but not least you will be able to access the incubation programme. This feature is particularly suited to those ready to launch their new business.
